There are additional opportunities to create insects or bats for display on the community railings for this Chorlton Arts Festival display. These will highlight the importance of maintaining insect numbers for good of the wider environment. For example, as well as helping pollination, insects provide food for bats which are a key indicator species for a healthy environment.

Your insect contributions can be whatever you choose so long as they are water resistant as they will be displayed outside. They will need to be ready ideally by 13/14 May, or latest 18 May 2023.
