Welcome to our guerrilla craftivism campaign on food waste! Whether it was word of mouth or a hidden crafted food item that brought you here, we are glad you made it.

About food waste
Did you know?

  • Food waste contributes to climate change!

  • Globally, almost a third of food produced is wasted or lost – a third!

  • Food waste is estimated to contribute to up to 10% of total man-made greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

  • If food waste were a county, it would be the world’s third largest emitter after China and the USA.

  • Stats taken from WRAP

Let's together help make Chorlton a really low waste place to live. We are gathering tips, knowledge and connections with people who are interested in taking action to reduce their food waste.
