Creating Cycles for Change

what might you create reformatted.png

Chorlton Craftivists chose old bicycle wheels as a canvas for expressing our different passions to create a display for Chorlton Arts Festival 2024, Creating Cycles for Change. Nine local artists, including some collaborative groups,  used a variety of materials and art forms to raise awareness of different issues that are important to us,  hoping to inspire positive thoughts and actions in others.

Feedback from Chorlton Arts Festival

The 'Creating Cycles for Change' exhibition at Charity Bike Shop was one of the most talked-about exhibits at #CAF24! It was thought-provoking and a great source of inspiration for us to take action for social change.

The wheel art was on display for the duration of the festival from 17-26 May in the windows of the Chorlton Charity Bike Shop at 102 Manchester Road, Chorlton M21 9BG (just along from Unicorn supermarket). Big thank you to them for hosting. After the festival five have stayed up and four are on their way to a potential new venue in July...watch this space.
