The Nettle Dress: A fundraiser to help Save Ryebank Fields ~ Sunday 10 November 2024
Join us for a guided candlelit walk in Ryebank Fields from 4pm, followed by campaign information, refreshments and films, finishing around 7.15pm.
Ryebank Fields now faces a crucial point in the campaign to save them from destruction. Find out more about the campaign www.saveryebankfields.co.uk
The film Textile artist Allan Brown spent 7 years foraging, processing, spinning and weaving nettles to produce a nettle dress. What a beautifully connected journey to what grows around us. The director Dylan Howitt and maker of the Nettle Dress Allan Brown have kindly allowed us to screen this as a fundraiser.
